Thank you for visiting the internet home of the orchestra portion of the Bastrop Community Chorus & Orchestra! Check out our 2012 Concert Season!

The Orchestra was formed to provide an opportunity for talented local musicians to gather for the purpose of playing music composed for large and small ensembles. We offer a variety of musical styles and eras:
- From Early Sacred music...to Renaissance...to Baroque...to Classical...to Romantic...to Modern 20th Century...
- From Broadway...to Disney...to Hollywood...
- From America...to Spain...to France...to Germany...to Italy...to Russia...to Poland...to Scandinavia...
. . . and all varieties and points of interest in between.
The Bastrop Brass is composed of the brass players in the Orchestra. During the Patriotic Celebration, the brass played jazzy American pieces that the audience enjoyed.

Join us on our journey around the world and through the ages as we grow from "fledgling" to "seasoned", noting our progress. Bring your family and your friends along for the ride. We look forward to seeing you at all of our concerts.
